"A Norlane man is suing Geelong Football Club for allowing him to get too drunk at a president's lunch. ...In Supreme Court documents seen by the Geelong Advertiser, Gregory Allan Clifford claims he consumed 'excessive quantities of liquor' supplied by the club at a president's lunch about two years ago. Mr Clifford claims he fell down a set of stairs at the club function and severely injured himself.
