I noticed, while glancing through it before class began this morning, that the top story in the student newspaper is that a bear was killed by police while poking around Frat Row. This immediately reminded me of Stephen Colbert, and before I could stop my mouth it'd told my calculus class that bears are objectively a greater threat to us than al Qaeda. Al Qaeda is very very far away, after all, whereas bears are lying in wait and biding their time right here in the Homeland, under our very noses, ready to attack us where we are most vulnerable: our frat houses and our keggers.
I hope the NSA and/or David Horowitz haven't bugged my classroom...
